What is the most memorable moment after you won the world champion title last year? Is it the moment you were decorated MBE in Buckingham palace?

问:继去年成功加冕世界冠军之后,对你来说最重要的时刻是什么?是那次在白金汉宫被授予英帝国勋章吗?

I think the most memorable moment was returning home to MTC and seeing all my team standing there, cheering and everyone were wearing the winning shirt that we have was a fantastic day and my family was there also it's a very proud moment for me. And also meeting the Queen and receiving the MBE was incredible and waiting in line to meet the Queen and I actually got the chance to shake her hands and in front of her and has conversation with her, was an experience not everyone around the world would ever get to see her. (Q: What did the Queen said to you?) Something I want to keep to myself, great experience and she was talking about racing and she was really really positive, very supportive.

答:我想最值得纪念的瞬间是当我回到家乡,来到迈凯伦的总部沃金中心,看到我们车队全体成员起立欢呼,每个人都穿着胜利者的服装,这对我来说无疑是梦幻的一天,也是非常值得骄傲的时刻,因为我的家人也去到了现场。同样,能够会见女王殿下并且获得英帝国勋章,对我来是无法想象的。我真的得到了机会与女王殿下握手,并且与她面对面的交谈,这次经历恐怕不是所有人都能体会到的。很抱歉我不能向大家透露全部内容,但这对我来说真是一次伟大的经历,我们谈论了一些关于赛车的事,她真的非常乐观,给我很大的鼓舞。

Now after the first two grand prix, what do you think is the biggest challenge for you in the next fifteen races?

问:在两站大奖赛结束之后,你认为在接下来的15站比赛中,对你来说最大的挑战将会是什么?

The biggest challenge is whether or not we can get the car that we have and move it forward to a winner car with no testing, such sort amount of testing, we only have the Fridays for testing before the races, so its extracting the most from Fridays, making no mistake in qualifying, getting the race to finish in every single race, so reliabililty is key, and also just be one point in time at a time is going to be very important.

答:最大的挑战是在有限的测试条件下,是否能保证我们的赛车处于更好的状态。现在,在比赛日之前只有周五可以进行测试,因此周五是最重要的。我们必须确保任何环节都准确无误,使赛车能够在每次比赛中顺利驶过终点,可靠性对我们来说很关键。目前踏实地走好每一步很关键。

Taking the season as a whole and as an overview in 2009, do you think the Brawn car will continue to be the main competition?

问:就整个2009赛季展望,你认为布朗车队仍将是你们主要的竞争对手吗?

I think it is without doubt at the moment that the Brawn car is the best and they’ve done an incredible, dramatic job and I think it is very hard for everyone to catch them up but it’s not impossible.

答:目前看来,毫无疑问他们是最好的,他们目前为止所做的工作令人难以置信。对每个人来说,想赶上他们都是非常困难的,当然这也并不是不可能的。

And now, what will be your view be, if Formula One would be part of the Olympics?

问:就目前来说,你认为F1能够进入奥运会吗?

I don’t have a view on it, I don’t think …

答:这个我没怎么考虑过。

What do think your most competitive attributes is as a formula one racing driver? Physical fitness or?

问:你认为你的哪部分特质对你的F1车手这一职业帮助最大?是良好的身体状态还是别的?

Ah… I think it is, the thing I never I give up, I’ll control everything, I will still keep going even if I’m running the last, 2 laps behind and I will still  never give up and I still believe I still can get something from it, anything can happen, I think that’s probably about it.

答:呃……我认为我永不放弃,我努力做好每件事,即使处于最后一名我也保持前行,就算被别人甩开两圈我也决不放弃,我仍相信我能行,任何事都可能发生,我想可能这些就是答案。

We saw that in Australia with a good position towards the back of the pack and progressing and   attacking through the field, what is like the challenge of the Australian GP?

问:我们看到在澳大利亚你在落后的情况下最后取得了比较靠前的名次,这次澳大利亚站的比赛是一次什么样的挑战?

I had so much fun in Australia, I really did and I had a great race, so it’s very positive for me, it was great to all to come out and finished what we did with the car that we have and with the certain circumstances. I just think me and the team did a solid job, we couldn’t ask for more.

答:我在澳大利亚过得很愉快,我享受了一次精彩的比赛,这对我来说具有积极的意义。能在当时车辆不佳的条件下出赛,并成功完赛是相当令人满意的。我认为我们稳固地迈出了第一步,不必再苛求什么。

And certainly in Australia and I know throughout your career, fans has been particularly important to you, how do you interact with your fans, let say, away at the track or away from the circuit, how do you interact?

问:是的,在澳大利亚的确如此。我知道在你的职业生涯中,你的车迷始终对你来说特别重要,那么你是如何与车迷相互交流的?在赛道之外你们如何互动?

Fortunately, I get to spend a little bit of time to interact with the fans, be it at the hotel, at the track or when I leave the circuit or when I went into the circuit. And for me it very important for me to spend time with them, they always gave me so much energy, its great to know here is the converse they have or just to see the example of what response they put on their faces, it’s a real gift, a real special gift so I’m very proud to be able have that.

答:很幸运,我能够抽出一些时间与车迷进行交流,在酒店里,在赛道上,或者当我进入或离开赛道的时候。我相当珍视与他们在一起的时间,他们一直给了我莫大的动力,当从他们的脸上得到反馈的信息时,这种感觉真是棒极了,这是一份真正的礼物,一份特别的礼物,能拥有这些我感到很自豪。

Any message perhaps for your Chinese fans?

问:有什么要对中国的车迷说的吗?

For my Chinese fans, I know that I have their support means not only a huge for me but also to the team and my family and I hope they continue to support me for many many years to come, I will never give up, I will never stop pushing and trying to be better, I will always win because I have them and I have my family.

答:对于我在中国的车迷,我知道他们的支持不仅仅是我自己,还有整个车队和我的家人,我希望他们能够长期支持我,我将永不放弃,永不停止前进的脚步。我将一如既往,因为有广大车迷和我的家人给予我的支持。

A couple of years ago, you wrote a book, follow up on the championship and some additional parts in the book, writing a second autobiography later year is something you would consider?

问:几年前你写过一本书,获得总冠军之后,你想再加上一部分经历完成你的第二本自传吗?

Well, it’s wasn’t an autobiography, it is a bibliography; it was just an account of experience in my life for one year up till then, I’m not actually write it, it was Griffin, so I can just say I co-write it because I dictate it pretty much, so it was my story but it's a long lengthy process which took a lot out of everyone and around a lot of people to get it done, I don't really expect another book for a good 20 years, I would say.

答:呃,那并不是一本自传,那只是一本个人简介,记录了我从一岁开始直到那时的生活经历。其实那本书并不是我执笔的,而是格里芬,所以我只能说我们是共同完成这本书的,我对这本书也倾注了相当多的精力,书中描写的是我的故事,但这本书的完成是与所有人的努力所分不开的,我敢说近20年内我不会再写另一本书了。

A little about the Shanghai Circuit, if you could tell us about the challenges about the circuit throws up from a technical setup perspective?

问:关于上海站的赛道,你能从技术方面谈一下你在赛道中将面临的挑战吗?

Shanghai Circuit quite a demanding circuit on the engine and considering we have turned up the engine a couple, all the time, we really have to making sure realibility is working perfect, that’s why Mobil 1 come into it, with the gearbox we have another 2 races to do on the gearbox. With the circuit, I would say that they have quite a sweeping medium to high speed corners and a long back straight which is fortunately we have a very strong engine, so it should be great for us to over taking, but it's a quite hard down force circuit for us, so we might be a little behind some people, but we have to just wait and see and I really don't really know what to expect, just trying in the points and score as many points as we can this weekend, collectively as a team.

答:上海赛道对发动机的要求很高,我们将会将发动机调高一些,我们需要时刻确保发动机处于最佳运转状况,这就是我们使用美孚1号的原因,我们还将用现有的变速箱再跑两站比赛。关于赛道,我想说其中有大量的中高速弯道,还有一条相当长的直道。很幸运我们拥有非常强劲的发动机,因此超车的时候我们会获得一点优势,但同时对我们来说这也是一条需要下压力很强的赛道,因此我们可能会稍微落后其他竞争对手一些,我们需要等待机会,我并没有太多的期待,只是希望我们车队能在周末获得尽可能多的积分。
